There's a reason this LitRPG series has worked it's way into the mainstream. An over-the-top and surprisingly addictive adventure about a barefoot ex-coast guard and his ex-girlfriend’s pedigree Persian cat, Princess Donut, as they battle to stay alive in an intergalactic game show—streamed live across the galaxy from (what was formerly) Earth.

Exploding goblins. Magical potions. Deadly, drug-dealing llamas. Did I mention the cat can shoot missiles from her eyes? Be sure to keep the game's weirdly specific and progressively creepy AI on your side by picking up the first book before the apocalypse arrives.
